What is the packaging method for BasketGem hand-woven baskets?

BasketGem understands the importance of packaging during transportation — although hand-woven baskets are sturdy, they still require proper packaging to avoid wear and deformation. Therefore, we have formulated a scientific packaging plan based on the product characteristics and transportation requirements of willow baskets or rattan baskets to ensure goods arrive intact.

From the perspective of regular packaging process: First, we wrap each hand-woven basket with a transparent PE protective film to prevent scratches or dust during transportation. Especially for eco-friendly hand-woven baskets with custom LOGO, the protective film effectively protects printed / embroidered details. Second, fill the inside of willow storage baskets with cushioning materials (e.g., bubble film, pearl cotton) to support the basket structure and prevent deformation from extrusion (especially for rattan hand-held baskets with handles, additional reinforcement is applied to the handle area). Third, place the wrapped hand-woven basket in a custom carton (carton size is precisely matched to the basket size to avoid shaking during transportation), and fill the gaps between the carton and cotton rope woven baskets with foam blocks to further enhance cushioning effect. Fourth, seal the carton and attach labels such as "Fragile" and "Handle with Care" on the outer box to remind logistics companies to handle your BasketGem hand-woven basket properly.

From the perspective of packaging adjustments for special situations: If you purchase multiple hand-woven baskets in bulk, we will use layered packaging — separate layers of willow baskets with hard cardboard to prevent mutual extrusion. For bulk rattan baskets shipped by sea (long-distance transportation), we will increase the thickness of the carton or use wooden crates for packaging to minimize the risk of goods damage.
